Elevated Seat / convertible for wheelchair use

Converts a standard toilet seat into an elevated seat with armrests that are optimally designed to assist a person lower to or push up from the toilet. Bolts onto most standard toilets and uses a standard toilet seat to maintain the decor of the user’s bathroom. Hardware is included. Elevated design adds 3″ of height to the toilet and the extra width between armrests- 20-1/4″ – makes it suitable for people who are overweight. Special lateral gripping slots aid in the contraction of abdominal muscles when difficulty with bowel movements occurs.

A non-elevated model is available for people who don’t need an elevated seat but need a little extra help getting on and off the toilet. Adds only 1-1/8″ of height to the toilet.

One product – two distinct uses. Used in the “arms up” position, it’s a toilet seat with armrests to help people who have difficulty rising from or lowering to a toilet but don’t need an elevated seat or grab bars. Used in the “arms down” position it’s an extended platform to help wheelchair users transfer on to and off of the toilet. The RTTS bolts onto most standard toilets and uses a standard toilet seat to maintain the décor of the user’s bathroom. Gripping slot features aid in the contraction of abdominal muscles when difficulty with bowl movements occurs.
