95-piece kit was developed by the U.S. Army for training Medical Corpsmen. It
provides realistic practice in the care, management and transportation of the
injured. Bleeding and non-bleeding injuries are included to add realism to any
disaster drill. Each bleeding wound includes a reservoir and pump assembly for
simulated blood. Bleeding can be controlled by direct pressure on the wound or
tubing (placed under clothing over arterial pressure points) or by compression
bandages. This kit offers students the opportunity to become experienced in
quick identification of wounds and the accompanying symptoms of trauma, treating
the injured at the scene of the simulated disaster, and learning how to
transport the victims to emergency rooms. Most of all this model allows students
